为了报复美国联邦众议院议长佩洛西（Nancy Pelosi）访台，中国当局气急败坏宣布进行军演，解放军更自4日中午起在台湾(专题)周边展开大规模实弹射击演练，向台湾东北部及西南部周边海域发射多枚东风系列弹道飞弹。对此，日媒《产经新闻》台北支局长矢板明夫在脸书Po文表示，这次军演，中国触犯了众怒。七大工业国（G7）外长连名谴责了中国。中国国家主席习近平(专题)现在应该想的是“如何让这场闹剧早日收场”。

“原因是小时候，有人告诉她只要在海滩上照着一个洞一直挖，就能抵达中国”。不知道是即时编造还是真的。但前美驻华大李洁明是真实的，出生于俄亥俄克里夫兰的李洁明小时候在家园子里挖坑，问他父亲，如果我一直挖下去，挖穿了，那边是哪里，他父亲告诉他，是中国的兰州。
