爱尔兰食品安全局（FSAI）近日确认，一名成年人因感染罕见细菌性疾病李斯特菌症死亡。目前，爱尔兰卫生服务执行局（HSE）下属的健康保护监测中心正在调查此病例，但为保护患者隐私，未透露更多细节。
此次死亡事件与近期爆发的李斯特菌疫情有关。周三，FSAI宣布已发现9例李斯特菌感染病例，并正在调查此次“大规模”疫情。为防控风险，FSAI已要求召回141种即食食品，这些产品由食品制造商Ballymaguire Foods生产，涉及Tesco、SuperValu、Centra和Aldi等多家超市的自有品牌。
被召回的产品包括鸡肉咖喱、千层面、肉酱意面、烘焙意面、农家派、炒面等多种主菜，以及即食土豆泥、胡萝卜豌豆、绿卷心菜和印度香米等配菜。FSAI警告消费者不要食用这些产品，因为它们可能含有单核细胞增生李斯特菌。

李斯特菌感染通常由食用受污染的食物引起，彻底加热可杀灭细菌。此次召回涉及Ballymaguire Foods生产的所有批次和保质期产品，该公司已暂停涉事工厂的生产，并启动全面召回。
李斯特菌感染的症状可能包括轻度流感样症状或胃肠道不适，如呕吐、恶心和腹泻。在极少数情况下，感染可能导致严重并发症，尤其是孕妇、婴儿、老年人和免疫力低下者。潜伏期平均为3周，最长可达70天。
FSAI要求零售商立即下架相关产品，并在销售点张贴召回通知。批发商和分销商需联系客户并召回产品。
据统计，爱尔兰今年前29周已报告7例李斯特菌病例，去年全年为22例，其中1人死亡。HSE报告指出，尽管爱尔兰每年李斯特菌病例数量较少，但其高死亡率使其成为重大公共卫生问题。
Ballymaguire Foods发表声明称，此次事件极为罕见，公司已立即采取行动并与相关部门密切合作。公司发言人向消费者致歉，并强调其20年来一直保持高质量生产标准。
李斯特菌感染可用抗生素治疗，但严重感染仍可能导致死亡。孕妇感染可能引发早产、新生儿脑膜炎甚至流产。
